Lifes little lessons
Feb. 10th, 2005 10:38 pmThis is my last post of the day.. I promise *heh*
Smiles bring happiness and happiness makes the people around you happy, it is so contagious. I am so happy. Life has dealt me so many things to be happy about. Today has been a day of up and downs for me and I realized that if I hang onto the downs then I will loose perspective of what is honestly important.
I want to take a moment to say thank you to a couple of people:
Cindy - my lifelong friend and the soul of my heart *more of a sister than friend really* - 22 years of friendship - what a milestone. The saying blood is thicker than water doesn't hold with our friendship. Thank you for making me see the good in life and making me smile at my lowest times in life. I am sorry that certain situations in life kept us apart. I promise that we will never go that long without talking again. You add a lot of light into my life. I enjoy your company, our conversations, and our pure friendship and caring we feel for one another. You deserve to hold all the happiness in the world in your heart. You are a golden woman with the most fantastic personality. Thank you for blessing my life with your frienship and love. Along with this I want Zach to know that I care a great deal for him also and hope that things between the two of you grow into a life lasting love and that you will never have to deal with the hurt of loosing him.
Donna - my friend/my second mother - you and George held my hand as I had fallen and were my strength when I was so weak I could not stand on my own two feet. May God bless your souls and your marriage. Your pollilock way of living brings me hours of laughter and don't know what I would do without you in my life. You made me feel so wanted when I thought that I was wanted by no one. Life seemed so unfair to me and you gave me a reason to pick my head off the ground and move on. You offered me a friendship and love that I 100% needed at the time I was at my lowest. George was the most wonderful man - made me realize all men weren't bad.
Jill - true friend/a rock - Thank you for encouraging me to go back to school and reach for my dreams. Thank you for all of your help and your inspiration. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life along with your husbands and your childerns. I will never be able to repay you for all that you have done for me.
Susan - my boss/my friend - You have encouraged me to become more healthy and live a lifestyle that I have been wanting to live for a long time. Without your constant encouragement I would have never been able to make it this far. You will be greatly missed! Thank you for allowing me to excel in the IT department. You gave me an opportunity that no one will ever be able to offer me again.
Last - but most certainly not the least -
Jen - my heart, my soul - Where shall I begin with you... Your smile lights my day up, your laugh makes me giggle. Your wisdom is uncanny. Our friendship has been scattered over hurt and pain. I know that I build you up and then let you down. For that I will forever be in debt to you. Even when you and I weren't talking I thought of you almost everyday and read your LJ just about everyday also trying to keep up with what was going on with you. *I was a stalker* Thank you for comming back into my life, for forgiving me for all of my wrong doings. I hope that you know that I will always cherish your friendship. I will always love you and care for you unconditionally. I hope our friendship can grow as we both grow. May your life be blessed with love and happiness. We both know you deserve it!
And not to sound to sappy.. Thank you to God for getting me out of a situation that I was miserable in. Thank you for the courage to move on with life and to constantly move forward.
Life can only get better from here..
What an awesome night!! I can honestly accomplish anything I put my mind too. I never thought that could be possible.
